Terms of use
The service
Daftar lets you record voice journal entries, get them transcribed and summarised, search past entries, and use related features such as reviews and Ask. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the Daftar privacy policy.
Your account and content
- You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under the age required in your country, a parent or guardian must agree.
- You keep ownership of the journal content you create. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run Daftar (transcription, summaries, search, backups, and the features you use).
- Do not use Daftar to break the law, harass others, or upload content you do not have the right to use.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in email secure.
Subscriptions and payments
Some features require an active trial or paid subscription. On iOS, payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. On Android (when offered), payment is handled by Google Play. Subscription terms (price, renewals, cancellations, refunds) follow the store’s rules and the purchase screen shown at checkout. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings.
Reading past entries, Timeline search, export, and deletion remain available without a paid plan. Recording/processing, reviews, and Ask require a trial or subscription, enforced on the server.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to abuse fair-use limits, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or use automated means to access accounts that are not yours. We may suspend or close an account that seriously abuses the service or creates legal risk.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Daftar available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms for future use.
Disclaimer
Daftar is a personal journaling tool, not medical, legal, or crisis advice. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a trusted person. The app may show public helpline links; that is not a diagnosis or a monitoring service.
The service is provided “as is” to the extent allowed by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under consumer law in your country (including Luxembourg / EU consumer protections where they apply).
